As a science teacher passionate about teaching science as a practice, not just a collection of facts, Lab in Every Lesson was created to help teachers and parents provide students with rich learning experiences that empower them with skills they can use in everyday life—skills to think critically, make informed decisions, and solve real-world problems. But even the most strategic and thoughtfully designed lessons won’t get the job done alone! Science lessons are like the trunk of a tree — the means through which we plan and differentiate instruction to serve every student. Yet, that trunk is also connected to a system of deep, entangled roots that allow it to stand tall and strong. On this podcast, ”Deep Roots=＞ Flowers + Fruit”, we’ll plant seeds of reflection and strengthen our shared roots of SERVICE, STUDENTS, and SCIENCE. Together, we’ll grow the fruit of lasting learning.

!I took a loooong, 5-month break from posting new content here ... and everywhere.
But, I'M BACK, and I promise you that it was worth the wait!

2. Lab In Every Lesson has a new look.
- Much like Po in Kung Fu Panda ... it took A LOT of focus, some dedicated silence, and a little bit of truth-telling ... but now I'm clear on exactly what I can provide to our science teacher community like no one else [that I know of] can.

3. Paid programs promise 10x shifts, not 2x shifts, in outcomes.
- The Active Learning Laboratory is closed and has been replaced with two programs that provide uber-focus on achieving super-specific goals that can help you make great gains toward seeing you through to your student-centered ambitions.
